There are six main causes and corresponding solutions as follows:
1. The safety door is not closed.
-
Problem: The machine displays an error message on the screen during the material loading process.
-
Procedure: Check and completely close the safety door before loading.
2. Fueling signal is malfunctioning.
-
Test: Go to the I/O Output page (F4) to manually test the feed signal (usually point 06 ).
-
Troubleshooting: If node 06 is faulty (no signal or always outputs a signal), switch to an unused node (e.g., node 29):
-
Go to page F6 , enter your password.
1234, select F3 to change the node number (Original: 6, New: 29). -
Next, swap the corresponding signal wires at the electrical panel (motherboard).
-
Check that the power supply to the valve is at least 24V .
-
3. Stuck fuel intake valve or pressure valve.
-
Check the coil: Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the two terminals of the coil. The normal value is approximately 21 Ω . If there is no resistance or the resistance is too high, the coil needs to be replaced.
-
Inspect the valve body: Disassemble and clean the valve body thoroughly. If it still doesn’t work after cleaning, the valve must be replaced.
4. Low temperature or foreign object in the barrel.
-
Temperature: Check the type of plastic being used and reset the melting temperature accordingly. On page F8 , you can adjust the heating time (usually 10-30 minutes).
-
Foreign object: If there is an unusual noise coming from the puller barrel, there may be metal or a foreign object inside. It needs to be disassembled for cleaning and removal of the foreign object.
5. Clogged funnel neck or worn screw shaft.
-
Clogged funnel neck: The screw rotates but cannot extract the adhesive because the resin is stuck in the funnel neck. The solution is to clean and unclog the funnel.
-
Worn screw: The resin has seeped through but the sealant isn’t taking hold. The screw wear needs to be checked and replaced if necessary.
6. Motor or feeder failure
-
Symptom: There is an unusual noise coming from the base or the 5-star motor.
-
Troubleshooting: Disassemble, inspect, identify the faulty internal components, and proceed with replacement.
If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, you should contact Haitian’s technical support department for more in-depth assistance.
