1. Check the power supply and activate the system.
-
First, check if the lubrication power switch is turned on. Then, press the lubrication button on the control panel and observe the operating status icon on the screen
2. Troubleshooting reverse phase power supply errors.
-
If the indicator light on the lubrication pump is on (power is supplied) but there is no oil pressure, this is a sign of reverse power phase. The technician will instruct you to turn off the machine and reverse the power phase to ensure the pump rotates in the correct direction.
3. Check the feedback signal (Signal 30)
-
Go to the monitoring page (F10 -> Press F4 to check if the lubrication signal (code 30) has returned. If the pump is running, there is pressure, but the signal light is not on, check the following:
-
Wire connections: Check if the signal wire at the lubricating limit switch is loose or not properly connected.
-
Oil pipelines: Inspect along the pipeline for leaks or loose connections and secure them accordingly.
-
4. Engine and pump maintenance
-
If the pump power light is on but the motor is not rotating, the motor and pump need to be disassembled for thorough cleaning of any debris.
-
If, after cleaning and reassembling, the engine still doesn’t start, or if the oil pressure is sufficient but the limit switch is unresponsive (indicating a faulty switch), the user needs to replace the component or contact the manufacturer for specialized support.
This process helps ensure the lubrication system operates correctly, protecting the mechanical parts of the plastic injection molding machine from wear and tear.
