How to set the Ejector Stroke or Core Pull Stroke on Haitian JU Series Injection Molding Machines

Technical Procedure for Calibrating the Ejector Linear Transducer on Haitian JU Injection Molding Machines

Re-calibrating (setting zero) the ejector linear transducer is a mandatory maintenance procedure when the system displays position errors, ensuring precise product ejection from the mold. The standard calibration procedure consists of the following steps:

Step 1: Access the Configuration Interface on the Screen

  • Wait for the machine to reach its operating temperature so the system is fully ready.

  • On the control panel, press and select the Machine page, then locate and select the RER tab at the bottom of the interface to enter the sensor/transducer configuration page.

Step 2: Calibrate the Full Retraction Position (Home Position)

  • Use the manual control command to activate the Ejector Retract function.

  • Wait until the ejector pins are fully retracted to the end of their stroke. At this point, observe the actual voltage value displayed on the system screen

  • Enter and configure this displayed voltage value to match the actual value, allowing the system to synchronize the initial baseline point.

Step 3: Calibrate the Full Forward Position (Set Zero)

  • Switch to the Ejector Forward function. Press and hold the control button until the ejector system moves fully forward to its stroke limit and stops completely.

  • Once you have verified that the ejector system has reached its maximum forward limit, press the Set Zero option at the bottom of the screen interface to save the new home position.

Conclusion: Correctly calibrating the ejector linear transducer eliminates position discrepancies, prevents mold damage from impacts, and optimizes the automatic injection molding cycle.
